Unlimited number of cash withdrawals at Woolworths and Ezy Rewards stores
You can withdraw cash as often as you want at any Woolworths, Safeway or BIG W store and it won't cost you a cent in bank fees. You can withdraw up to $1000 a day from checkouts at Woolworths, Safeway and BIG W stores (providing you have sufficient funds in your account). Withdrawal amounts in other Ezy Rewards stores vary according to store policy.
You need to provide the store with 24-hours notice if you want to withdraw more than $1000 a day. Call 13 72 88 between 8am-8pm (Sydney time) 7 days a week to discuss requirements.
Unlimited deposits
Deposit cash to your Ezy Action Account at the checkout of any Woolworths, Safeway or BIG W store as often as you need to without incurring bank fees.
You can deposit cheques using the Quick Deposit Box facility at any Commonwealth Bank branch.
Make EFTPOS purchases
You can use your Ezy Card to buy things at any shop with EFTPOS facilities. If you use your card at any Ezy Rewards store, you earn Reward Points. Withdrawals or purchases made outside Ezy Rewards stores attract fees.
No Account-keeping fees
There are no fees charged for simply having an account, although some types of transactions attract fees.
Optional cheque book
Account holders aged 18 and over, can apply for a cheque book by calling 13 72 88 between 8am-8pm (Sydney time) 7 days a week. Fees and charges apply. A minimum balance of $200 is required to apply for a cheque book.
Deposit cheques and cash at selected Commonwealth Bank ATMs
You can deposit cheques and cash (not coin) at selected Commonwealth Bank ATMs. Not all ATMs have deposit facilities.
Withdraw money from any ATM in Australia
You can withdraw cash from any ATM that accepts Commonwealth Bank cards. Fees apply.
Interest
Your Ezy Action Account pays you interest. How much interest you earn depends on your balance. If you keep more than $5000 in your account, the interest rate is comparable with some cash management accounts, so you don't need a separate savings account.
Ezy Rewards
You will be automatically enrolled in the Easy Issue option of the Ezy Rewards program when you open an Ezy Action Account. When you use your card to make purchases at any Woolworths, Safeway, BIG W or Ezy Rewards store, you will earn Ezy Rewards points. ($1 = 1 point). Every three months, if you have spent $1450 or more, you will be sent a voucher you can use at any Ezy Rewards store (except HomeShop and GreenGrocer).
Pay bills by BPAY®
When you use Phone Banking or NetBank, you can pay any bill that has a BPAY® code. Fees apply.
Direct debits/periodical payments
You can set up automatic payment of bills, regular transfers to another account and mortgage payments by calling 13 72 88 between 8am-8pm (Sydney time) 7 days a week. Fees may apply.
Access Phone Banking
With Woolworths Ezy Banking Phone Banking, you can: check your account balance; hear your past five transactions; transfer money; make a BPAY® bill payment - 24 hours a day, 7 days. Fees may apply.
Access your account on NetBank, the Commonwealth Bank's internet banking service
Once your Ezy Action Account has been activated, you can register for NetBank by calling 13 72 88 between 8am - 8pm (Sydney time) Monday to Friday. Once registered, you can log on to NetBank from this site.
With NetBank you can: view balances; view transaction histories; transfer money between your linked accounts or to other accounts; set up scheduled and recurring payments. Fees may apply.
Transfer money to a linked account
You can move money from your Ezy Action account to a linked account by phone, NetBank or using a Commonwealth Bank ATM. Fees may apply.
Transfer money to a third party at the Commonwealth Bank or another financial institution
With NetBank you can transfer money from your Ezy Action account directly into a third party's account at the Commonwealth Bank or another financial institution. Not all accounts accept direct transfers of this type. Fees may apply.
Direct payment of wages, pension etc into account
Have your wages, pension, family benefit or other payments deposited directly into your Ezy Action Account. Simply contact your pay office, Centrelink or relevant government department. You will need to provide your BSB and account details (these can be found on your statement or obtained by calling 13 72 88 between 8am-8pm (Sydney time) 7 days a week).
Joint Account
You can open a joint account giving shared access for you and another person.
Change your PIN
To ensure maximum security you can change your PIN whenever you want using any Commonwealth Bank ATM. To change your PIN you will need to know your original PIN number. If you have forgotten your PIN number please call 13 72 88 between 8am-8pm (Sydney time) 7 days a week.
Access your money from overseas
Your Ezy Action Account card gives you access to your money through the Maestro worldwide EFTPOS network.
This means you can use your card wherever you see the Maestro symbol.
You can also withdraw cash from a Cirrus ATM anywhere in the world.

Ezy Updates (quarterly statements)
You will receive a printed statement (including an Ezy Rewards points statement) by post every three months.
